The designer may decide to make changes after seeing what the garment looks like on a real person. A pair of pants may need to be shortened. A fabric color or texture might need to be changed.
It is also important for designers to stay up to date on technology. Designers spend a lot of time learning about fashion trends. Educate yourself about design history, and read about the future of design. Create a list of designers and styles you like. Do you prefer classic styles or newer ones?
